In Fall 2004, I began teaching full-time at Yuba College after
spending the
previous 12
years working as a professional wildlife biologist, and also teaching
part-time
for six of those years. See my C.V.
for the formal details. I
did my master's research on bats and am
continuing to study these amazing creatures. I also have
extensive
experience with vernal pool ecology and implementation of wetland
mitigation and
regulatory laws. I love teaching and hope to inspire students to
stop,
look around, and appreciate the beauty of the living world!
In December of 2004, my husband and I welcomed our son Alex
into the
world.

River Preserve.
