This is my mousetrap powered jumping car. I, Bryan Winters, decided to name it "Grease Lightning". Grease Lightning went a total distance of 0.2’. It fell from the end of the ramp with grace and style and flew like a dead bird.

This was a fun project and I learned a lot, not only on how to build a car, but in how to think about making rules and regulations for a contest such as this one. Some of the rules that I would change are the shape of the ramp and its location. I wou ld put it on the ground and let the car get a running start from flat ground so it would have a better chance of building speed before coming in contact with a sloped ramp. This would have made the outcome a little more impressive and would have made the contest a little more exciting to witness.
