How I could have improved my vehicle:
I should have used a lighter rod for a lever, or I should have drilled some holes in the existing lever to decrease its weight.
I could have a larger spool on my rear axle to increase torque and decrease static friction.
Using WD-40 as a lubricant on my axles could have reduced kinetic friction.
I should have spent more time making improvements to my vehicle
Suggestions for improving next year's contest:</I> All vehicles should be made of recycled materials. Nothing should be purchased except for mousetraps and glue. The whole purpose of the contest should be to fully construct a vehicle made of only recycled materials which will withstand a maximum load with minimal friction; This means that all parts of the vehicle (wheels, bearings,axles should be constructed with recycled material by the student himself!!!
