On August 25, 2000, Math Science Dean, Dr. Kevin Trutna toured the National Ignition Facility at LLNL. He writes: "This was a great tour of the huge laser being built at Lawrence Livermore National Labs. Two of the people in the pictures are on our advisory board for Laser Optics so they showed us behind the scenes workings. The other people on the tour are French physicists working on their LLNL laser."
